The Vancouver Whitecaps have booked a Concacaf Champions Cup date with Cascadia rivals Seattle Sounders, after defeating C.S. Cartaginés 2-0 at BC Place in this Leg 2 clash.
Brian White nearly opened the scoring in the 40th minute of the match from the penalty spot, but was denied by the Cartaginés goalkeeper. But the Whitecaps would not be discouraged, even after Thomas Müller's thundering header was also denied by the post.
