The Canadian women's national team have made it 5 wins in a row as they continue to take on more and more opposition in the build-up to next summer's FIFA Women's World Cup, defeating Brazil 2-1 courtesy of goals by Shelina Zadorsky and Adriana Leon.

Zadorsky's opener came early in the first half, as she got a great header past the Brazil 'keeper off an inch-perfect Ashley Lawrence cross. Then, Leon scored an even better goal of her own around the half-hour mark, smashing a first-time volley off a corner kick.

A Debinha goal shortly after cut Canada's lead in half, but Les Rouges would hold on to secure the W regardless.

Canada plays Brazil once again on Nov. 15, 2022 – you can watch that match right here on OneSoccer.
