ROSTER DROP: CanMNT 🇨🇦 name training camp squad ahead of 2026 World Cup
Canada Soccer has announced the selection of 32 players who will report to Canada Soccer's Men's National Team (CanMNT) training camp in Charlotte, North Carolina, starting on May 25. The group will train in Charlotte through 29 May, at which point Jesse Marsch will name Canada's official World Cup roster in a primetime television special airing simultaneously on TSN, CTV, Crave, and RDS at 7:00 PM ET / 4:00 PM PT.
Given player injuries and active club competitions, players will report to camp in line with communications with their respective clubs and medical staffs, with player fitness as the priority, whether reporting in Charlotte or thereafter ahead of the competition period beginning 7 June.
"These are the final days before we announce the squad that will represent Canada at a home World Cup, and the excitement in this group is real. We feel the momentum building across our country and we are calm, focused, and ready for this moment." - Jesse Marsch, MLS Canada Head Coach of the Men’s National Team
Canada's official World Cup squad will be unveiled on 29 May, following which the group will travel for pre-tournament send-off matches against Uzbekistan on 1 June on Play Alberta Field at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton and the Republic of Ireland on 5 June at Stade Saputo in Montréal. Both matches will be presented by BMO and air live nationally on TSN, RDS, and OneSoccer.
Limited tickets to cheer on CANMNT in the send-off series matches in Edmonton and Montreal are available via canadasoccer.com/tickets.
Canada was drawn into Group B at the official FIFA World Cup 2026™ draw in Washington last December, alongside Bosnia and Herzegovina, Qatar, and Switzerland, with matches scheduled for 12 June at Toronto Stadium, 18 June at Vancouver Stadium, and 24 June at Vancouver Stadium.
