The CanMNT to play 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinal Home Leg in Toronto

Canada Soccer has announced that Canada Soccer's Men's National Team (CANMNT) will play its home leg of the 2026-27 Concacaf Nations League A Quarterfinals at BMO Field in Toronto on Monday, 16 November. Canada will play the first leg away with venue and opponent to be confirmed following the conclusion of the group stage this October.

Canada earned a bye directly into the Quarterfinals as one of the region's four top-ranked nations, alongside Mexico, the United States and Panama, after finishing third in the 2024-25 Concacaf Nations League. The Quarterfinals will be played as a two-legged, home-and-away series decided on aggregate goals. The four series winners will advance to the Concacaf Nations League Finals at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in March 2027 and qualify directly for the 2027 Concacaf Gold Cup. The four losing teams will advance to the Gold Cup preliminary round. 

Nations League History

Canada has reached the Concacaf Nations League Finals in two of the last three editions, finishing as runner-up in 2022-23 and claiming third place in 2024-25. In the last edition, Canada booked its place in the Finals with a 4:0 aggregate Quarterfinal win over Suriname, capped by a 3:0 home-leg victory at BMO Field in November 2024.

The November window will close out a landmark 2026 for CANMNT, following the program's historic run to the Round of 16 at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
