Toronto FC has announced that it has re-signed Canadian international midfielder Jonathan Osorio to a three-year contract with a 2026 option using Targeted Allocation Money (TAM).

"Ten years ago, my dream was to play for this club. Today, my dream is to make history with Toronto FC and take the club back to where it belongs," Osorio told the club website. "This club and city mean everything to me. I am excited to continue to play in the biggest games at BMO Field in front of our fans and compete to be successful and win trophies every year."

Osorio, 30, recently completed his 10th season with the club and is the team's all-time leader in matches played with 318.

He made his 300th appearance for the club in April 2022, becoming the first player in club history to reach that milestone.

Osorio has scored 58 goals in all competitions, ranking third in the club's all-time top scorers.

In 2018, he experienced the best year of his career, scoring a career-high nine goals in 23 MLS matches and 16 goals in 35 matches across all competitions.

He was named MVP of the 2018 Canadian Championship and earned the Golden Boot award during Toronto FC's run to the 2018 Concacaf Champions League finals.
